This month’s food festival was
themed ‘Italian Style,’
bringing classic Italian flavors into
the school cafeteria
and offering teachers and students
a cross-cultural culinary experience.
The event was filled with
aromas and bustling crowds,
becoming a warm and lively scene on campus.

本次美食节的重头戏，
是一系列精心烹制的意大利传统佳肴。
卡普里番茄芝士沙拉里
芝士的柔滑与番茄的酸甜
在罗勒叶的点缀下清新开胃。
米兰炸小排外酥里嫩，金黄诱人；
罗勒香煎鸡胸将香草的芬芳锁入鲜嫩肉质；
托斯卡炖鱼柳以慢火炖煮出
地中海沿岸的浓郁风情；
西西里肉酱焗茄子则层层叠叠，
将茄子的软糯与肉酱的醇厚**融合。
The highlight of this food festival was
a series of carefully prepared
traditional Italian dishes.
The Capri tomato and cheese salad,
garnished with basil leaves,
was a refreshing appetizer,
with the smoothness of the cheese
and the sweet-and-sour taste of the tomatoes.
Milanese fried pork cutlets were
crispy on the outside and tender on the inside,
golden and tempting;
pan-seared chicken breast with basil
locked the fragrance of
herbs into the tender meat;
Tuscan braised fish fillets were
slow-cooked to bring out
the rich flavors of the Mediterranean coast;
and Sicilian baked eggplant with
meat sauce was layered,
perfectly blending the softness of eggplant with
the richness of the meat sauce.
本次美食节在主打意大利风味的同时，还贴心地设置了中餐档口——白灼虾的鲜甜、广式烧鸭的油润、辣椒炒肉的香辣、杏鲍菇粒炒肉的爽脆、西红柿炒蛋的家常滋味，让同学们都能找到熟悉的味道。
While the festival focused on Italian flavors, it also thoughtfully offered Chinese food stations — the fresh sweetness of poached shrimp, the rich oiliness of Cantonese roast duck, the spicy kick of stir-fried pork with chili peppers, the crispness of stir-fried diced king oyster mushrooms with pork, and the homey taste of scrambled eggs with tomatoes — so that students could all find familiar flavors.
值得一提的是，蛋黄莲蓉月饼与五仁月饼的登场，为这场西式盛宴增添了一抹中秋的韵味。
It is worth mentioning that the appearance of lotus seed paste mooncakes with salted egg yolk and five-kernel mooncakes added a touch of Mid-Autumn charm to this Western-style feast.
奥利奥杯子蛋糕和水果杯子蛋糕以精巧造型俘获了甜品爱好者的心；黑糖啵啵珠奶茶更是成为现场人手一杯的“人气担当”。
Oreo cupcakes and fruit cupcakes won the hearts of dessert lovers with their exquisite designs; brown sugar boba milk tea even became the crowd favorite, with almost everyone holding a cup.
